Irish Heritage Celebration |
Recently Mayor James Harrington, city,
county, and state officials kicked off our cities
annual cultural and heritage celebrations. The
city starts with Irish Heritage day and we share
with you thoughts from the mayor and other city,
county, and state officials on the celebration of
not only the Irish heritage in our community, but
all cultures that make the
City of
Brockton the City of Champions.

"The
Brockton Guide"
|
Navigating through the laws, the regulations, the
paperwork, the licenses and everything else that
goes into starting a business can be
overwhelming. So the city of Brockton helped
arrange “The Brockton Guide” to help
entrepreneurs start or even expand their business
in a logical concise way. We present you
highlights of the official release of “The
Brockton Guide” recently held at city hall.

In
2006 Brockton was named
“One of the Best 100 Communities for Youth in
the Nation” and this was largely in part to
the efforts of the non-profit group
Brockton’s
Promise.
Every Child a Champion, a Champion for Every Child
– that’s the mission of
Brockton’s
Promise
a non-profit organization that brings together
for-profit, not-for-profit, community groups, and
individuals to help bring "Five Promises" to every
child. On this episode of

Taste
of Metro South |
The Taste of Metro South has been providing
entertainment, music, food and much more for
fifteen years now, and its time once again for the
annual event brought to the entire South Shore by
the
Metro South Chamber of Commerce. We bring you
the sights and sounds of the annual event and a
some interviews from just a few of the hundreds
that packed the Shaw’s Center to the rafters.
