Art Exhibit at City Hall

Over the past few years Crescent Credit Union has provided a calendar highlighted by a Brockton theme.  The tradition continues this year as they partner with the Brockton Council on Aging who supplied the artists and their original artwork inspired by the architecture and nature in the City of Brockton.

Energy Bucks

The winter months are here and the cold has settled into the area which reminds us all of the costs associated with keeping warm in winter.  For several years the statewide effort of Energy Bucks as helped those in need with Fuel Assistance, Utility Discounts, and Energy Efficiency and an event was recently held in Brockton to help spread the message.

Hot Stove Fundraiser

It may be cold outside, but there’s a Hot Stove inside as the Brockton Rox continue their baseball tradition welcoming the Boston Globe Sports Columnist Bob Ryan, former voice of the Boston Red Sox Jerry Trupiano and Boston Red Sox phenom Jonathan Papelbom to the City of Champions on a night that raised $8,000 for Brockton’s “Save Our Sports”.
