Marvelous Margin Hagler
Benefit Appearance in Brockton |
On the
last episode of One North Main we presented you
with a segment about a recent day in the City of
Champions that honored one of its best known sons,
"Marvelous" Marvin Hagler. In that segment
we presented “The Marvelous One” in his own words
sharing his thoughts about the
City of
Champions and about the event that brought him
back to Brockton – a benefit boxing night. The
day was a fundraiser for
Massasoit
Community College and the “Save Our Sports”
program which yielded an abundance of programming
that will be premiering shortly right here on
BCA. Here now we present a teaser of the sites,
sounds, and boxing of that event.

BCA Summer Video Camp
part 3 |
After
six weeks of TV and video production training
BCA’s Summer Camp sponsored by the
Mayor’s
Office has drawn to a close. The dozen or so
youth have successfully completed their training
and BCA is already undertaken the process of what
the next step will be for these students. But
before we get ahead of ourselves, we take a look
back with some of the BCA staff that made it all
happen. |

The Mayor's
Summer Sunday in the Park |
The
Summer in Brockton is a busy place with a diverse
cross section of activities to participate in or
to just sit back and enjoy. One of these
traditional events is presented by the Mayor’s
Office and is held at Brockton’s own beautiful DW
Field Park and you all know it as “Summer Sunday
in the Park”. The day was several hours long
filled with a range of events and here on One
North Main we present you with a sampling of some
of the musical acts at these year’s “Summer Sunday
in the Park”.
