Segment Content / Focus Description

Dave Gorman

For more than two Decades Dave Gorman has been organizing Kids Road Races in the City of Champions at DW Field Park.  Loyal viewers of 1NM have seen a few segments about these Road Races, but this time we take time to honor the organizer Dave Gorman and his contribution to the city over the decades.

Summer Solstice

June 21st is called the longest day of the year and it marks the day known as “The Summer Solstice”, a community day that has become a tradition in our city as an informal way of marking the end of the school year and the start of the summer.

Brockton After Dark

Another continuing tradition that helps make Brockton the City of Champions and one of “100 Best Communities for Young People” is Brockton After Dark and Brockton’s Promise.  We sit down with some of the organizers to explain how the program came about and how you can be involved.

BCA and the Brockton Rox

Full Length Baseball Coverage

Those of you familiar with BCA know that we do our fair share of Brockton High School sports and you also know we do a weekly show titled “BCA on the Rox”.  Well this summer BCA will be bringing you full length Brockton Rox game coverage and we show you a few highlights from one of the games.
