Spring means many things in the city of Brockton and one of them is the Brockton Public Schools annual Special Olympics School Day Games.  1NM takes time to recognize yet another group of champions in our city, the athletes of the Special Olympics.

Haitian Flag Day Celebration at City Hall

Continuing a tradition of cultural recognition in our City Mayor Harrington and others gathered at City Hall to celebrate  But what at first look may appear as only a celebration for one culture, is actually the continuation and refocusing of the city’s efforts to embrace all its cultures into one greater community.

City Hall Open House

Part One

The Harrington administration held its first City Hall Open House where citizens could take tours of the building, meet department heads, and even sit in the mayor’s chair.  In this second installment we meet up with representatives from the departments of Animal Control, Information Technology, and Council on Aging

BCA Internships

BCA internships are designed to allow interns to experience by doing, not just observing.  Interns will gain experience in the operations of a busy Community Access Facility by witnessing and interacting with the administration and business aspects of the facility to understand how BCA.  And on this episode we present a segment produced and edited by one of our interns.
