Phoenix Program |
The
Phoenix Alternative Programs have been designed to
assist students in learning new and more
appropriate patterns of behavior. Through the
“Girls' and Boys' Town Classroom Management Model”
the school utilizes a wide variety of programs and
counseling options for students and their family
members. To find out more about the program we
sat down with some of those involved in The
Phoenix Program.

George N. Covett
Courthouse Dedication

A
name you may not be familiar with is that of
Brockton raised George N. Covett and
recently more than two hundred members of the
community joined judicial leaders, judges,
lawyers, legislators, state officials, and court
employees to celebrate the renaming of the
Brockton Trial Court in his honor. Here on
One North Main we present highlights of the event.

On
Election Day fall 2005, thousands of voters turned
out to elect the 46th Mayor of
Brockton James E. Harrington. And just
recently the mayor celebrated his Inaugural Ball
at the Shaw’s Center in Brockton. Here now we
present a quick recap from the fall election
season up to the Inaugural Ball.

4th Annual
Brockton Rox Hot Stove

It's
only a few months away until May when the
Brockton Rox
open up their fifth season. In the same way the
mid-spring has come to mean Opening Day Baseball
in Brockton, mid-winter has come to mean Hot Stove
in Brockton. This year the Rox invited two
members of the 1967 Red Sox “Impossible Dream
Team” Jim Lonborg and Rico Petrocelli.
We interview the two legends on their careers, the
and talked with Rox GM Andy Crossley to
find out just where the heck the term “Hot Stove”
comes from.
