BPS Katrina Relief Efforts

The Brockton Public School System's teachers, parents, students, and staff participated in a system wide fundraiser to benefit hurricane relief in conjunction with donation matching efforts of Brockton's own WB Mason.  Together the organizations raised more than $58,000.  1NM had the chance to speak to BPS Superintendent Basan Nembirkow, WB Mason's Stephen Marciano, and the Hancock School's Assistant Principal Márcia Andrade-Serpa.

Murder in the Library:

The Highlights

Recently the Brockton Public Library held a fundraiser night in the form of a community based-audience interaction-stage play.  The concept of a "Murder in the Library" comical whodunit unfolds full of spontaneous comedy, musical numbers, and more.  1NM presents some of the moments of the night.

BHS Women's Soccer

Although many people think Boxer football when they think of sports at Brockton High School, there are several other groups of Boxer's performing both on and off the field.  We meet up with the coach and former players of the BHS Women's Soccer Team to learn how soccer is more than a game.

How to Register to Vote

1NM's own Peter Czymbor wants to vote, but first he needs to register to vote.  Peter takes us all to City Hall in Brockton to show us all how to register to vote and even shares a little bit more about voting in Brockton.
