Segment Content / Focus Description

Brockton After Dark

Brockton After Dark is collaborative effort of private citizens, the business sector, non-profit groups, and the City itself.  The collaborative is dedicated to providing sports, craft activities, and other programs for the youth of Brockton during the summer months.  1NM catches up with some of the organizers and sponsors of the program such as Bob Martin of the Mayor's Office, US Attorney Michael Sullivan, Plymouth County DA Timothy Cruz, and others.

The First Day of School 2005

1NM has been on hand for several "First Day of School" events of the Brockton Public School and this year we decided to take a slightly different approach.  We focus on just one school this year, Brockton High School, and chat with the principal and a few teachers about what the first day of school feels like from the staff's perspective.

The Award Winning BCA

Brockton Community Access was honored with several Awards for our efforts in video production and we take a time to showcase these efforts and share the awards with the citizens of Brockton - the Community in Brockton Community Access.

BEMA -

The Brockton Emergency Management Agency

This segment portrays a fictional emergency event in Brockton.  It was recorded during the annual BEMA (Brockton Emergency Management Agency)  disaster exercise and edited to simulate the planned exercise.
