Brockton Historical Places

to Visit in the Summer

July of course marks our nations birthday and causes Americans to pause to remember years of American History.  We decided to take this spirit of reflection to present some local historical landmarks to visit in the summer that are all within Brockton.

YMCA

More Than You Might Think

Once known only as a "swim and gym" destination, the Old Colony YMCA offers much more than you might think.  Recently we were toured through their facility where we were shown not only gymnasiums and pools, but found out the diverse programs for youth and adults.

BCA on the ROX -

What You Miss

If You're Not Watching

BCA on the ROX is a combined effort of Brockton Community Access and the Brockton Rox.  BCA on the ROX is a weekly inside look at players, coaches, events, and more that happen at Brockton Rox games.  In addition, 1NM's Peter Czymbor and BCA volunteer Noubertson Rateau host the weekly "Rox Report".  Here on 1NM we show you a highlight reel of the raw answers and comedic moments of the Rox "Fun is Good" mantra.
