The Brockton Garden Club, in it's continuing celebration of 75 years of service in the City of Brockton, recently held a Garden Expo at the Shaw's Convention Center and 1NM was there to highlight the day.

Taste of Metro South

The Metro South Chamber of Commerce recently held its annual "A Taste of Metro South" here in Brockton at the Massasoit Conference Center.  1NM talks with some of the attendees and showcases the variety of food, music, and fun that was present at the 13th annual event.

Principal for a Day 2005

Last year the Brockton Public School System held its first annual “Principal for a Day”.  The day was cheered as a success by both school department organizers and their guests.  Because of this success the Superintendent’s office has once again given approval for the Brockton Educational Foundation to conduct its “Principal for a Day”.  In part one we take a look at last year's event.  Be sure to see the next episode where we showcase this year's event.

100th Anniversary

of the Grover Fire

The 100th Anniversary of the Grover Fire was recognized in Brockton with a day long event held exactly one hundred years to the day on March 20th.  We present some of the sights and sounds of the day commemorating the day in Brockton history.

Brockton's own Fuller Craft Museum displays the unique art of "dumpster divers" and "trash fashionistas" who transform left over materials into contemporary art.
