Solar Power for
Brockton High School
|
Through the efforts
of dozens of volunteers, organizations,
educational institutions and the
City of
Brockton,
Brockton High School now receives a percentage
of power needs via a "clean" method of solar
panels. 1NM was on hand the day of the
installation in July 2004 and the unveiling
ceremony in September 2004.

First Day of School in Brockton 2004
|
The end of the
traditional summer season means its back to school
for the 16,000 plus students of the
Brockton Public School System. The
school system opened its doors to our cameras as
we visit:
Brockton High School,
South Junior High School, the
Davis Elementary School, and the
Kennedy Elementary School. Along the way
we have a chance to interview several of the
principals, Mayor John T Yunits, Jr. and the new
Superintendent of Schools Basan Nembirkow.
