Plouffe Flag Day Celebreation

The Plouffe school held its annual Flag Day event at City Hall where hundreds of students, educators, City officials, and other Brocktonians gathered for the event.

Supplies for Our Troops

 

Several Brockton residents and Brockton Public Library employees gathered at the library to assemble care packages to be sent to troops in Iraq an Afghanistan.  The troops designated to receive the boxes are from Brockton and the South Shore area.

The Brockton Public Library, Brockton Historical Society, and members of the community present: A Celebration of Patriotism: Wartime History on Display.  We present highlights of the speeches and a video tour of personal items from our nation’s war efforts.

 

Summer Solstice

The 7th Annual Summer Solstice celebration cosponsored by the Brockton Public Library was held at the Arnone school's Keith Field.  1NM presents highlights of the event.

 

Tom Pileski

(retiring BHS Athletic Director)

BCA talks with Brockton High School Athletic Director Tom Pileski who is retiring after seventeen years of service to the community.  We were also able to get commentary from Jospeh Bage (retired BPS Superintendent), Eugene Marrow (retired BHS Principal), and Armond Colombo (retired BHS teacher and Football Coach).
